Role: Pre-Sales—Finance and Accounting
Experience: 8 to 10 years
Roles and responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed discussions with clients to understand their F&A processes, challenges, and automation needs
- Present and demonstrate the capabilities of the E42 platform to potential clients, specifically focusing on F&A automation solutions
- Analyse client requirements and design customized automation solutions for their F&A processes
- Develop and present solution proposals, including ROI analysis and implementation roadmaps
- Provide technical guidance and support to the sales team during the presales process
- Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and align with the platform’s capabilities
- Create detailed solution documentation, including functional and technical specifications
- Prepare and deliver high-quality proposals, presentations, and proof of concepts (POCs) to clients
- Gather feedback from clients and market trends to inform product enhancements and new feature development
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in F&A automation at large corporates and BPMs/Shared services and cognitive process automation, especially on e-invoices, GST/VAT, etc
- Develop training materials and user guides to facilitate knowledge transfer
Skills and Experience Required:
- Knowledge and experience in finance & accounts and finance operations having worked in knowledge process outsourcing, global capability centres, shared services centres, captives; business and process transformation experience focused on F&A will be preferred
- In-depth knowledge of finance and accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, financial reporting, and auditing
- Working knowledge of industry-standard F&A software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
- Proven understanding and experience of end-to-end AP/AR/GL processes, tools and how automation enables straight-through processing
- Ability to analyse complex F&A processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements
- Strong problem-solving skills to address client-specific challenges and requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with clients and internal teams
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and understand their needs and expectations
- Willingness to continuously learn about new technologies and industry trends
- Ability to adapt to changing client requirements and market conditions
Good to have:
- Understanding of cognitive process automation technologies, including AI, machine learning, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), and data analytics
- Familiarity with ERP API documentation
- Experience in presales roles, particularly in solutioning and presenting to clients
- Strong skills in crafting compelling proposals, presentations, and POCs
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage client expectations throughout the presales process
